Greece is renowned for its beautiful islands, each offering its unique charm and stunning settings for a wedding ceremony. Though every island is different, you can't go wrong because they are all so beautiful. Check out these places for yourself, and find which venue you like best.

Santorini, Greece
Santorini is one of the most iconic and romantic islands in Greece. Its dramatic cliffside views, white-washed buildings, and breathtaking sunsets provide an enchanting backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Villages like Oia, Fira, and Imerovigli offer stunning vistas of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. I know it's overly touristy and way too crowded in the summer, but it's still my favourite island.

It's a lovely destination for a wedding or elopement, and it's nice to choose a place "other" than the most travelled islands, such as Mykonos, Rhodes, and Santorini.

Known for its medieval architecture and rich history, Rhodes offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. The Old Town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features charming cobblestone streets and ancient ruins. That being said, many of the wedding venues are very modern and tend to be run by resorts. If that's your thing, then great!
Rhodes:
Each of these Greek islands offers its distinct beauty, atmosphere, and wedding venues. You can really find anything from modern luxury to traditional chic. If you want a more authentic experience, stick to the places that offer a bit more of a traditional place. That way you can really feel like you had your wedding on a Greek island, and not just at "some resort".
