There are so many traditional ways to propose- why not try something new and fun?
On a hike: Plan a hike to a beautiful location, like a mountaintop or a scenic overlook. When you reach your destination, get down on one knee and ask your partner to spend the rest of their life with you.
Scuba diving or snorkelling: If you and your partner are certified scuba divers or enjoy snorkelling, consider popping the question underwater. You could even hide the ring in a treasure chest or have a diver bring it to you during the dive.
Skydiving: For the ultimate adrenaline rush, propose while skydiving. You could write "Will you marry me?" on a banner or have the ring attached to your skydiving suit.
Bungee jumping: If you and your partner are thrill-seekers, propose while bungee jumping. You could have the ring attached to your ankle or hold up a sign with your proposal written on it.
Hot air balloon ride: A hot air balloon ride is a romantic and adventurous way to propose. As you soar through the sky, take in the beautiful views and then ask your partner to spend the rest of their life with you.
Rock climbing: If you and your partner enjoy rock climbing, propose at the top of a challenging climb. When you reach the summit, take out the ring and ask for their hand in marriage, or tie the ring to a "figure of 8".
Helicopter mountain top: Why not take a helicopter ride up to an epic peak? If you aren't much of a hiker, or just don't want to sweat, it's the perfect alternative to hiking up a mountain while still getting an incredible view.
Proposing in an adventurous way is a great way to create a special and memorable moment for you and your partner. However you choose to propose, the key is to make it meaningful to your relationship, something you know is special between the two of you. By putting effort and thought into your proposal, you'll create a moment that you and your partner will remember for the rest of your lives and set the groundwork for your futures together.
